OMG!! Trump Bans Huawei Once Again
Well, if you are staying updated with the latest tech and gadget news, then you might know about the ongoing trade war between the US and Huawei. Recently, US President Donald Trump said that America would not do any business with the Chinese company Huawei. Not only that, but the reports from Bloomberg also states that President Donal Trump is also suspending the licensing system that allowed U.S companies to work with Huawei. Trump said during the Conference, “We’re not going to do business with Huawei” “It’s much simpler not to do any business with Huawei. So, we’re not doing business with Huawei. That doesn’t mean we won’t agree to something if and when we make a trade deal, but we’re not going to be doing business with Huawei” “We’re not going to do business with Huawei. We’re not doing business with them. And I really made the decision” he added. The reports from Bloomberg also states that almost 50 different U.S companies have applied for licenses to work with Huawei during the trade ban. Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross, whose department has checked the applications said that the decision on those licenses are still ‘Pending’ To remind you, in May 2019, Trump administration has put Huawei on the ‘Entity List’ which restricted all U.S based companies from doing business with Huawei. Later, Trump declared that U.S companies could work with Huawei, but they would need to apply for a Special License. After reading today’s news, it looks like we were rolled back to where it all started in May. So, what do you think about this? Share your views with us in the comment box below.
