Now, with the release of Opera 50 Beta RC, those responsible for this project included an anti-bitcoins mining feature, which in practice blocks any scripts detected on pages for that purpose.
In addition to this feature, this beta still features support for Chromecast. The NoCoin feature can be enabled in browser settings and works in the same way as normal ad blockers.
