PowerWatch X: The smartwatch that simply gets charged with body heat

This watch can remain indefinitely on our wrist without having to charge it or change the battery. This model comes after the company launched the Matrix PowerWatch in 2016, which was quite limited because the technology was still a bit green. The PowerWatch X improves the technology used (called thermometric conversion of energy, and which owns the company), taking advantage of the heat of our body to nourish the clock. This means taking advantage of the full functionality of it, being able to see the time, date or notifications of our mobile. The PowerWatch X has a calorie counter, steps, and sleep monitor, typical functions in this type of devices. All this information is also sent to our mobile by Bluetooth, being able to know the calories, the steps and the electricity that we have produced throughout the day.

The watch allows you to know at all times how much battery you have left by a ring arranged on the edge of the screen. Also, when you take it off, the watch automatically goes into sleep mode to spend as little battery as possible. In this mode, you can get to stay more than a month. When you put it after that time, it will have full functionality again.

PowerWatch X is Submersible up to 200 meters: do not run out of time at the bottom of the sea

It also shows the amount of heat that our body is producing to power the watch. In the customizable interface, we can choose to show us this data at all times. The watch has a solid and reinforced construction, and a resistance to water up to 200 meters deep. The strap is made of silicone, and the company claims that it is practically unbreakable. The watch weighs between 60 and 70 grams, and the screen is 1.2 inches. The company has not revealed what software is used by the watch, although we doubt that it is Android Wear because of the large amount of power that this operating system needs. It can be paired with devices that have iOS and Android, and its initial price will be $249.99. The reservations are already open, and the first units will start shipping at the end of the month. Shipments outside the United States have a shipping cost of $30. So, what do you think about this new watch? Simply share all your views and thoughts in the comment section below.
