Huawei’s HongMeng OS is 60% Faster Than Android!!
Huawei getting banned from using Android has been one of the trending topics for a while. It all started when the Trump administration included the Chinese Giant, of course, Huawei under the dreaded entity list. Due to the ban, the Chinese company Huawei was not only restricted to sell products in the US but also not able to purchase anything. Following the US Trade ban, the Chinese Giant company Huawei is reportedly working to build an Android alternative. The company is working on its own operating system that is expected to power future smartphones. The new OS in the talk is the ‘HongMeng OS’. In a recent interview, the CEO of Huawei, Ren Zhengfei, said that their Hongmeng OS will be much faster than Android and MacOS. Not just that, Ren Zhengfei also said that Hongmeng OS is not a traditional operating system for smartphones. In fact, it will cover new categories like the Internet of Things, PCs, Autonomous Vehicles as well. The reports from Global Times also says that Huawei’s Hongmeng OS is likely to be 60% faster than Android. What’s more interesting is that the operating system is designed to sync across multiple devices. But, it still lacks a Google Play Store alternative. According to the reports from Gizmochina, Huawei’s homegrown operating system will also undermine Android’s absolute dominance over the smartphone market. Right now, Huawei is testing the Hongmeng OS with tech giants like Vivo, Oppo, Tencent and its expected to release in the next few months. So, what do you think about this?
