The tech giant Google is releasing an Invisible reCaptcha system, which does not request any “challenge” and does not appear on the forms. For obvious reasons, the company does not detail the workings of the technology, but says the differentiation between humans and robots happens through “a combination of machine learning and advanced risk analysis that adapts to new and emerging threats.” ReCaptcha will continue on the pages but in a hidden way. As soon as you open a form, it will try to guess whether you are a human or a robot. If reCaptcha is in doubt and suspicious that you are a machine, then a challenge will be displayed.
As Ars Technica noted, reCaptcha helped the tech giant Google solve problems that were too complicated for machines. When reCaptcha worked through words, you contributed to the digitization of books. Then, the tech giant Google started using reCaptcha to identify house numbers on photos taken by Street View cars. More recently, the technology has been used to train image recognition algorithms.
