There are many users who are still using Microsoft’s Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 PCs. However, the bad news is that Microsoft had previously declared that Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 won’t be available in market after October 31, 2016. So, Microsoft’s Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 are officially dead for Microsoft’s money-making machine. Microsoft’s Support page had mentioned that “Every Windows product has a lifecycle. The lifecycle begins when a product is released and ends when it’s no longer supported.” That simply means that now Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 won’t be sold preinstalled on PC. The change will be implemented by Microsoft’s royalty OEM’s like Dell, HP and Lenovo they will now sell Windows PC running only Microsoft’s latest Windows 10. You may be thinking about existing Windows 7 and Windows 8.1? Well, there is a good news too! Windows 7 will receive updates for security fixes until January 14, 2020, and Windows 8.1 will be receiving until January 10, 2023. So, if you are already on Windows 7 or 8.1 then it’s ready to move to Windows 10 because Microsoft doesn’t have plans to deliver long-time support.
